Gloria Bounds

Gloria Luna Bounds is a program manager in Corporate Community Relations for CenterPoint Energy, a domestic energy delivery company headquartered in Houston, Texas. In this role, she helps direct, plan and implement community outreach projects and programs by lending support to educational, civic, social and environmental initiatives. She has led the company’s United Way campaign since 2012.

Gloria is passionate about the community and volunteers on a regular basis. Gloria is an active member of the Junior League of Houston, serves on the board of the Latin Women’s Initiative in Houston, and is a member of the HISD Hispanic Advisory Committee. Gloria is a graduate of the United Way of Greater Houston’s Project Blueprint Class 27, and Leadership Houston Class 33. She is a former executive board member of Avance-Houston.

Gloria earned her BA in Communication, and MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX. She earned a Certificate in Community Involvement from the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship in 2009.

Gloria lives in Houston, TX with her husband, Jesse and son, William.
