Christina Ford is Vice President of Program Management and Operations at McKesson and also serves as the National Chair for PALMa, the Professional Association of Latinos at McKesson. Within her role, Chris is responsible for leading Process Improvement, Program Management, Technology Implementations, Lab Services and Practice Operations Support for the US Oncology Network.
Prior to serving in this role, Chris held various positions within McKesson over the past 10 years including serving as Sr. Director of Health Informatics, HEOR & Centralized Operations, in which she lead a team of clinical data analysts, outcomes researchers, biostatisticians, project managers, sales analysts and customer engagement managers responsible for the daily execution and delivery of Health Informatics and Outcomes Research products and services. She has also served as Vice President of the Process & Program Office for the Physician Practice Solutions business, responsible for process optimization and Six Sigma across the organization, as well as for ensuring the cross functional readiness and quality of product development releases for practice management and EHR technology solutions. Additionally, Chris served as the Sr. Director, of Business Process & Quality Management and was responsible for developing the Operational Excellence, Project Management Office and Quality Management functions within the Reimbursement, Access & Safety Services Business, as well as leading the Six Sigma Program for overall McKesson Specialty Health.
With over 20 years of experience in continuous improvement, project management, quality and operations, Chris has built a sound track record as a process expert and operational leader in the healthcare, customer service, manufacturing, and logistics industries. Prior to joining McKesson, Chris held key engineering and operational leadership roles at American Express, FedEx Ground and Motorola.
Chris earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University and her Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Leadership from the Ken Blanchard School of Business at Grand Canyon University.
