National Latina Business Women
Alyssa is Vice President Development Officer with Commercial Bank of California (CBC), the largest Latino owned bank in California that serves small to mid-size business with their treasury management and capital needs. In her role at CBC she focuses on municipal accounts for Southern California. Through her work, she helps secure financial foundations for municipalities to better serve their communities.
Prior to CBC, Alyssa worked for New York Life as the Pacific Region Latino Market Manager where she oversaw the implementation of growth strategies for seven states and twenty two offices across the Pacific Northwest.
Alyssa completed her undergraduate education from the University of California, Los Angeles and received her Master’s in Communication Management from the University of Southern California.
Alyssa is the current President of the National Latina Business Women Association – Los Angeles Chapter. A nonprofit that’s mission is to promote, develop, and support the rapid growth of the Latina business owners and career professionals through education to become better business leaders.
She also serves as Treasurer for the Latina Public Service Academy and is an active member with the Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce, UCLA Latino Alumni Association, California Contract Cities Association, and California League of Cities.
Alyssa finds her passion in working with the Latino community and is dedicated to helping current and next generations Latinos build capacity.
