Ángeles M. Valenciano is a Global Human Capital Executive known for creating and implementing large scale Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Management Programs. Her experience is working with the Top Fortune companies both nationally and globally. She currently leads the Global and National Diversity Council as its CEO. Ángeles is a highly sought-after and recognized public speaker on DEI and its link to Business Growth, Social and Corporate Responsibility, Talent Pipeline Development and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
She has a proven track record in creating, leading and developing communications and organizational change strategies that drive diversity and talent management initiatives, which in turn, are designed to support strategic business goals. She is a broad-thinking executive, with a clear understanding of DEI and their significance related to business excellence, resilience, and competitive edge in today’s global environment.
Active in charitable and civic affairs, Ángeles is a graduate of the Instituto Tecnológico in the city of San Luis Potosí in Mexico with a degree in business and computer information systems. She holds a Certificate of Achievement in Professional Human Resource Management from Villanova University. In addition, she is a Certified Diversity Professional and she has completed various leadership and professional development programs across the country as well as abroad.
Ms. Valenciano is fluent in English and Spanish. She serves on the board of the Science, Engineering and Technology at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. She is a strong advocate and chairs several committees for individuals with disabilities in the workplace. She is a proud Ally to the LGBTQ+ community and is active with several chambers of commerce across the country.
She most recently received the “LGBTQ-A Lifetime Achievement Award” from the San Antonio LGBT Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Valenciano lives in San Antonio, Texas with her sons.
